Joining the ranks of Man-At-Arms and Orko was always going to be a daunting task. Many have tried and many have failed. Who remembers Cocker Soccer Blocker? I kid, that’s not real, but a new Masters Of The Universe character has been created and will be ready and raring to go for you to think ‘it’s not quite as good as Mekaneck is it?’

And not only is it a completely new character with a completely new set of powers, but it’s also being created by DC Entertainment’s wünderkind Geoff Johns, the man responsible for almost redefining modern comics, so you know it’s good. Right?

Called ‘Sir Laser Lot’ and looking like someone mined medieval history and science fiction and created a bastardised hybrid, he is set to appear in the new Masters Of The Universe digital comic, which is also written by Geoff Johns (seriously, this man doesn’t stop).

Hopefully he will take off more than Poochie did.

Johns said (between writing almost every DC book out there):

“I’ve been a huge fan of He-Man and Masters Of The Universe since I was a kid, so it’s cool to write a story for this new series – not to mention teaming with Howard Porter and John Livesay, my old FLASH partners in crime. And to create an all-new character that will become an action figure – Sir Laser Lot – it’s beyond fun.

I can’t wait to see his cousins, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Lord-Of-The-Dance appear.

Here he is below!
